I've been out of town for a few days, and upon my return I was faced with hundreds of RSS posts in my newsreader. I thought I'd list a few of the notable links here:

• InfoDesign, a new site containing original content on information design. (via Digital Web)
• Lou Rosenfeld points to new content on the Journal of Digital Information.
• Using Movable Type to power an intranet. It looks interesting, but there are enough issues with maintaining a large MT installation to make me think twice or thrice about such a setup.
• Christina Wodke points to the website for a course on Info Design.
• Tim Berners-Lee gets knighted. I'm part way through Tim's "Weaving The Web," and finding it a great read.
• Ideas in Technology has a nice list of suggestions for anyone about to jump into the wooly world of web publishing (aka Content Management).
• Phil Windley briefly discusses Utah's new single-sign-on system. I'm convinced that such system's are a must-have for any decent-sized organization. The UW has great one with its UW NetID system, and I've built a much smaller scale one for one of our local school districts.
